Creative Shropshire are bringing back our popular networking events. We aim to hold quarterly events each with its own theme. The first will have a focus on photography. Whether you are a photographer yourself or you use photography within your business this is a great opportunity to network with others within the industry.

All Shropshire creatives are welcome to this event but please note that Creative Shropshire is a network for creative business people.

If you aim to attend the meeting feel welcome to bring some examples of your work to show others.

This exclusive business event brings together an absolute wealth and diversity of creative expertise in Shropshire and promises to showcase the quality of knowledge that is available to the Shropshire Business community without having to look outside of the county. During the day, informative and lively presentations will be made by speakers including David Parrish, author of ‘T-Shirts and Suits - A guide to the Business of Creativity’ and Peter Lisney who says “give me a business problem and I switch instantly into hyper-thought mode to find a solution”.

After a light lunch we invite the whole Shropshire business community to attend the creative conference and exhibition to not only fully appreciate the creative talent within the county, but to also network and source local web developers, marketing and advertising experts, photographers, copy writers and more. All of this alongside an array of business support organisations to offer you business support and advice on issues such as: exporting, expanding your workforce and high growth business support initiatives.

It's the holiday season once more and the annual Creative Shropshire Christmas dinner is upon us again. This time something a little different - Chinese food. A chance to let your hair down with other creatives, friends and family. This is always a popular and fun event and this year it is Bridgnorth's turn to play host.  A talk and media show from lifestyle and sports photographer Ross Woodhall.

Ross has spent his career traveling the globe as a professional lifestyle photographer shooting in some of the world's most exotic locations. He is now lives in Ironbridge, Shropshire and continues to work for the likes of Getty Assignments as well as more local clients.

Ross will give an insight into the life of a professional commercial and editorial photographer and show us some of the images he has taken along the way.
